The 215 Gathering

The 215 Gathering is a network of Gospel Communities that have a shared eldership and gather together every Sunday at 10am at 215 Sharrow Vale Road, Sheffield.

Gospel Communities are where the life of our Gathering happens. In those communities we share life together, eating together, discipling one another with the gospel and sharing that gospel with those who don't know about Jesus.

Some of these Gospel Communities have a regular meeting during the week, but it is important that to know that these communities are much more than a meeting - they are family.

What to expect

If you come to our Gathering (Sundays, 10am) you will be able to enjoy a fine cup of coffee (various types available), or tea and some time to meet new people.

The main meeting then gets underway around 10.30am. We sing together, pray, listen to the Bible being taught. Often there will be various types of media, such as youtube video's, that help us understand and engage with what we are looking at in the Bible. Sometimes there is also opportunity during the meeting to ask any burning questions that you might have, or you can grab the speaker after the formal part of the meeting has finished.

If you are new to this it is also likely that someone will invite you for dinner after the meeting, which is a great opportunity to find out more of what we're about.

If you get involved in a Gospel Community it is hard to say what that will look like. Gospel Communities are where the life of our Gathering really get going. It is family that seeks to live lives following Jesus, serving each other and the communities around us both in action and with the message of Jesus.

There will be all sorts of things happening through the week, from meals at people's houses, to film nights, music cafes, football matches, some more formal times talking about the Bible and more. Check out the Gospel Community pages below to find out what some of them get up to.

What else is going on?

The 215 Gathering runs various other activities, most of which are headed up by a particular Gospel Community. We have a Toddler Group, a live music cafe (Live @ 215), a conversation class for people who are wanting to improve their english and more. Check out the pages below for more details.
