The world around us is captivating. It seduces us as it tells us a story about life and reality. Revelation tells a very different story. It pulls the masks off the things we worship in this world, and shows them for the monsters they really are. To the extent we engage with Revelation, we will see life and the world around us in a very different light. As we have our minds, hearts and imaginations captured by its truth our churches will be equipped to live well and faithfully in a beguiling and dangerous world.
